口試前：
1.學位論文口試
請於兩週（一個月更佳）前登入「學生資訊系統」線上提出E化口試申請，並至系辦將相關表件交給助教。
2.操作步驟如下：
※【步驟一】：請於「確認論文題目」及「口試委員名單」之後，登入學生資訊系統，申請學位考試，並從系統中列印出「指導教授同意書」。
※【步驟二】：請至系辦繳交相關文件，如下所述：
(1)指導教授同意書：請從學生資訊系統列印，並請老師親自簽名。
(2)歷年成績單。
(3)論文初稿。
(4)論文壁報展出證明。
(5)化學系研究生論文口試學位論文專業檢核表：於系網【文件下載】中下載，經指導教授及檢核委員簽名後，一併交至系辦。
(6)論文原創性比對報告：需本人及指導教授簽名並押日期。
(7)研究生學位考試申請表：於學生資訊系統填寫考試委員名單後，確認口試時間及地點，帶著前六份資料至系辦找承辦人員確認
3. 學位考試申請書填寫方式 :
請指導教授簽名同意，並填寫口試時間和所邀請的口試委員。為便於學校行政作業的流程，請：
（一）依照行事曆規定時間提出，本學期至114年01月15日前截止。
（二）學位考試應於114年01月31日前舉行完畢為原則。
（三）學位考試後應修改論文，須於114年01月31日送交成績至註冊組。
（四）學位考試結果通知書最遲繳交日期待註冊組通知系辦後公告周知。
＊口試委員三至五人，校外委員須佔1/3以上，校內委員人數不限，並由指導教授指定一人為召集人。
＊注意：指導教授不得為召集人。
＊口試申請表上請務必寫上口試老師的現任服務學校及科系與老師的最高學歷學校與科系。
＊注意：寒暑假上班時間為星期一到四，8:00~12:00；13:30~16:00
4.於文件下載中下載以下檔案，並於口試當日給口試委員們：
a.推薦書 (每份都需指導教授簽名。除指導教授外，需給其餘口委各一份)
b.審定書 (兩份)
c.口試評分表、東海大學化學系口試委員對於本系培養之研究生核心能力評量表，並以L型資料夾彙整。(每位口委一份)
5.請於口試前詢問指導教授是否需延後公開紙本論文。
若需延後公開紙本論文，請至文件下載中下載「國家圖書館學位論文延後公開申請書」，並檢具相關證明文件，經該研究生之學位考試委員會審議同意後始得申請延後公開或不公開。(公開日期由學位考試委員會決定)

Before the oral defense：
1. Dissertation defense
Please submit the application of oral defense from your student system online before at least 2 weeks (1 months would be better) from your dissertation defense beginning. Print the document and submit it to the office.
2.The steps as following:
※【Step1】：
After confirming the title of thesis and all committee members, log in the student system to submit the application of dissertation defense, and then print the”指導教授同意書.”
※【Step2】：
Confirm the date and location of your dissertation defense, and come to the CHEM-office, you will receive the “研究生學位考試申請表”
※【Step3】：Please submit the documents as following
(1) 指導教授同意書：Print from Student system, and ask director professor for signing.
(2) 研究生學位考試申請表：Fill in the details on student system, and let the CHEM-office confirming it.
(3) Transcript (all academic years)
(4) Thesis (first draft)
(5) The proof of your thesis poster
(6) 化學系研究生論文口試學位論文專業檢核表：Please downlod from the website and ask your director professor and commitee memebers for signing.
(7) 論文原創性比對報告（the similarity report)：With signature from you and your professor.
>>> Bring all documents to the CHEM-office.
3. The way to fill in the application for dissertation defense
After the director professor agrees, you have to fill in the date and the name of all committee members.
Please follow the deadline as following:
(1) Following the campus schedule, the deadline for this semester is 15th Jan. 2025.
(2) The dissertation defense must be held before 31th Jan 2025.
(3) After the defense, you must submit your scripts to the registrar section before 31th Jan 2025.
(4) Office would notify the deadline for submission of “學位考試結果通知書” after the registrar section report.
＊Inviting 3-5 committee members including one-third off-campus members, and appointing one member as convener.
＊Notice: The director professor does not become the convener.
＊You must fill in the details about all your committee members in your application form.
＊Reminder: Office only open at 8:00~12:00 and 13:30~16:00 from Monday to Thursday during the summer or winter vacation.
4. Please download the following documents, and submit it 1 week before your dissertation defense.
a.推薦書 (Asking director professor for signing on each sheet, and submit to each committee members.)
b.審定書 (2 sheets)
c.口試評分表, 東海大學化學系口試委員對於本系培養之研究生核心能力評量表, puting all documents into L-folder, and submit to each committee members.
5. Before your oral defense, you must discuss with your director professor whether or not to postpone the public date of your paper thesis.
